The Need to Talk About Traumatic Bereavement

A traumatic bereavement leaves a permanent mark, nothing can take away the loss. But it is important that questions can be asked about what happened, why did it occur? To limit the bereaved from thinking about what has happened or about the questions that remain, is a further injury to their psyche’s and minds. It is through being able to think about and talk about the trauma that some new balance may be found. It is vital that we are able to think and speak about our experience.
